![]() ![]() When Moth Flight is leaving camp to get catmint, Silver Stripe appears with her siblings, wanting to go with Moth Flight to the Twolegplace. Silver Stripe and her siblings are then shooed out of the den. Sliver Stripe asks Moth Flight what the herb Black Ear had sniffed was, and when Moth Flight gets the name and use wrong, Silver Stripe asks why Reed Tail is not the medicine cat. Silver Stripe is wedged in the gorse of the medicine cat's den wall when Moth Flight removes her telling her to climb elsewhere. She is happy to see Moth Flight when she returns from her journey and comments on how Micah smells different. When they return to WindClan Silver Stripe is greeted by her mother, who was worried about them. On their journey back they meet Red Claw, and Silver Stripe asks who he is and Moth Flight tells her he was just a Sk圜lan cat. Once the entrance has been dug away, Moth Flight climbs in and rescues Silver Stripe, she then apologizes for running off. The entrance to the tunnel is too small for any of the cats to fit in. When she is found, she is trapped in a small tunnel near the gorge, at the RiverClan border. Moth Flight and Silver Stripe Moth Flight's Vision, page 310 Moth Flight, Willow Tail, and Spotted Fur search for Silver Stripe after she and her siblings leave camp on Moth Flight's watch. Silver Stripe: " Who cares if I'm beautiful? Beauty doesn't help with hunting, and I'm going to be the best hunter in WindClan." Moth Flight: " And you're as beautiful as your mother." In the Super Editions Moth Flight's Vision When Gray Wing is dead, Silver Stripe and her siblings cling to his body. ![]() Gray Wing tells Silver Stripe to be brave and take care of her mother just as he is dying. As the idea of Clans is discussed, Silver Stripe says Thunder's group must be called ThunderClan. When Wind Runner appears to say goodbye to Gray Wing, Silver Stripe is confused as to why she is acting like this. As Gray Wing is settling into his nest, she charges in with her siblings telling Gray Wing that Clear Sky saved Black Ear. When Black Ear returns she runs up to him exclaiming that White Tail said he had been eaten by Slash. As she waits in the camp for news of her brother, she huddles next to Gray Wing and asks him if Slate is coming back as she has been gone for ages. Clear Sky reassures the kit telling him his siblings are safe and sound. When Black Ear is found by Clear Sky he asks if Silver Stripe and her brother are alright. Slate brings Silver Stripe close to her telling the young she-cat that she was very brave. Silver Stripe and White Tail emerge from the gorse wall telling their mother they hid like she said, Silver Stripe expresses her concern that she thought her mother was killed. When Slash and his cats raid the WindClan camp Slate yowls for her kits, calling their names. On the way to the gathering, Clover mentions Silver Stripe and her siblings because she worries that she won't get to meet them due to the cold weather. Silver Stripe stirs in her sleep as White Tail mews. She sleeps at Slate's belly, along with her siblings, as Slate discusses Slash with Gray Wing. Although not named yet, she purrs alongside Black Ear. Special other traits desired or required for the name, such as marking or size, are added on in parenthesis." Silver Stripe, be brave and take care of your mother." ―Gray Wing to Silver Stripe Path of Stars, page 307 Silver Stripe is born to Gray Wing and Slate along with her siblings, White Tail and Black Ear. As such, all names here are meant to physically describe the color of a kit and nothing more, with the exception of the damage names which are, again, meant for willing adults. ![]() There is no priority tier like with suffixes the only important thing is that the name fits the kit and is not demeaning in any way. It is considered cruel to name a kit after a deformity that they were born with. Damage-based prefixes are listed at the bottom, but they are usually only given at the request of the warrior who has sustained that damage. A prefix is chosen for a kit at birth based on their physical appearance - so, for example, a ginger kitten may be named after a fox, or a rose, or something else with the same color as their pelt. Prefixes are the first part of a warrior’s name, and the part that, barring some physical damage or massive change, will be kept until their death.
